This page is yet to be completed, however we provide a brief overview and will direct you to a range of useful materials for structuring a Session Zero.
A Session Zero represents the Players all coming together to discuss the Story you will be telling together. It will comprise of a discussion about the Characters, the expectations for the Story, and the incorporation of safety tools you’d like to see as part of the game.
While a Session Zero is used at the Start of a Story, groups may wish to perform additional Session Zeroes throughout a Story, especially during especially long running ones where the themes and expectations of Players may vary over time.
For information on how to run a session Zero, we recommend the following videos. While they were produced with Dungeons and Dragons Fifth Edition in mind, they will be applicable to running Freedom Fantasies.
Additionally for resources with Safety Tools we recommend those put together by No More Damsels, which may be found at the following link: NMD: RPG Resources.
