Weapons relate to any Object which a Character may hold which either may be used to make a Weapon Attack, or otherwise effects a Character’s Weapon Attacks or Unarmed Strikes.
The Weapons which are available to Characters will vary by Fantasy, and so are presented below by said availability.
Additionally Weapons are introduced with respect to their complexity: Simple, Advanced and Complex. All Characters are considered Skilled in Simple Weapon, but many Characters who are not especially proficient in combat are not Skilled in Advanced or Complex Weapons.

Effect
In place of an Attack, a Character make attempt to entangle an Adjacent Target in a Net. The Target of the Net must make a Physical Defense Roll against a DC set by the Attacker’s Strength or Dexterity:
Net Save DC = 8 + Skill Bonus (if Proficient) + Strength or Dexterity Bonus (Attacker’s choice)
A Character has Advantage on their Defense Roll if the Attacker would have had Disadvantage to Hit them with a Ranged Weapon Attack (e.g. the Character is Threatened). A Character has Disadvantage on their Defense Roll if the Attack would have had Advantage.
If the Character Succeeds on the Check, the Net falls harmlessly at the Target’s feet.
If the Character Fails the Check, they are Grappled and Restrained by the Net. The Net moves with the Character if they are Moved. A Character remains Restrained by the Net until they or another Character help them escape the Net. They may do this by either Breaking the Net, or they or the assisting Character may Resist to make a Physical Defense Roll against the Net’s Escape DC:
Net Escape DC = 8 + Net’s Damage Limit
Different Nets have different Armor Classes, Hit Points, Break DCs and Resistances and Immunities. Unless otherwise stated assume the Net is made of rope with weak hardness, granting it an AC 5, a Damage Limit of 5 and Damage Reduction of 5, and a Break DC of 13, are Immune to Psychic, Poison and Bludgeoning Damage, Resistant to Piercing Damage, and Vulnerable to Slashing and Fire Damage.
Nets are assumed to be of a Size that the Character using it may easily wield it. Character’s which are more than one size category larger than the Attacker automatically succeed on their Defense Rolls against a Net.
A Character may use the Use an Object Action to grab a Net, allowing them to Move the Restrained Target as they would a Grappled Target.
