Job

Your Job represents a collection Experiences your Character begins their Story with.

Specifically, a Job will consist of 2 Skills and either 2 Tool Skills, 2 Language Groups or 1 of each of these.

You may choose to create your own Job by individually choosing the Experiences you think your Character would have (including a name for your Job!), or you may choose an Example Job, which will be presented at the end of this Page.

Experiences granted by your Job should be recorded on your Experiences Card.

Job Skills

Skills represent a group of commonly associated activities which your Character is experienced in and may have a particular talent for. The use of Skills are discussed further on the Skill Checks Page and the Skills Page.

You may choose 2 Skills for your Job.

There are 8 Skills you may choose from: Athletics, Creativity, Lore, Medicine, Social, Survival, Technology and Trickery.

Example Jobs

Below are a set of Example Jobs which you may choose instead of creating a unique Job of your own.

To choose a Job Randomly, you may roll a d100 and choose the corresponding Job and it’s Experiences. Reroll if you feel the Job chosen does not fit well with your Identity or Ability Bonuses (e.g. a Character with a +0 Charisma Bonus is unlikely to be a Socialite).

Once you have chosen a Job, you may choose to change some of the Experiences granted by it to better fit your vision for that Job.
