History and Culture

Humans represent the most common Ancestry encountered in many fictional tales. Often this leads to them being viewed as a less fantastical Character which acts as a foil for the more outlandish Characters.

However this in turn can lend itself well to Characters who are viewed as underdogs, or highly ambitious, as the adversity born out of lacking innate magical gifts or an extended lifespan gives them the drive to do great things.
