Starting Benefits
Cleave (Combo)
As a Combo, you can use the Attack Action a number of times equal to or less than your Might Bonus.
Each Attack Action granted by this Combo must be made against a different Target, and must be a Melee Attack with an Axe.
You cannot Move or use other Actions or Reactions between the Attacks of this Combo.
If an Attack granted by this Combo is a Critical Hit, instead of gaining an Extra Attack the Target takes Additional Damage equal to the Axe’s Damage Rating.
Axe Training
You become Skilled in Axes and one other Weapon Type of your choice.
If you are already Skilled in Axes, you can instead choose any two Weapon Types.
Weapons Types include Axes, Bows, Clubs, Daggers, Guns, Improvised, Polearms, Shields, Swords and Whips.
Progression Benefits
Felling Blow (Attack Technique)
When you Hit a Target with an Attack with an Axe, you can expend 1 Stamina Point to use the Felling Blow Technique.
The Target takes Additional Damage equal to your Might Bonus and must make a Body Defense Check against your Martial Effect DC. On a Failed Check the Target is Knocked Prone.
Hamstring (Attack Technique)
When you Hit a Target with an Attack with an Axe, you can expend 1 Stamina Point to use the Hamstring Technique.
The Target takes Additional Damage equal to your Might Bonus and must make a Body Defense Check against your Martial Effect DC. On a Failed Check the Target is Slowed.
Shield Splitter (Attack Technique)
When you Hit a Target with an Attack with an Axe, you can expend 1 Stamina Point to use the Shield Splitter Technique.
The Target takes Additional Damage equal to your Might Bonus and all Damage caused by this Attack is considered Direct.
Additionally, if the Target is wearing a Shield and the Evasion Bonus it grants is less than your Skill Bonus, the Shield is Broken.
Double Chop (Combo)
As a Combo you can make two Attacks, provided both Attacks use an Axe.
Guillotine (Attack Technique)
When you Hit a Prone, Frozen or Unconscious Target with an Axe you can use the Guillotine Technique.
The Target must Succeed on a Body Defense Check against your Martial Effect DC or take 1 Wound.
Blender (Attack Technique)
Whenever you Hit a Target with an Attack with an Axe you can use this Technique. The Target takes Additional Damage equal to your Might Bonus.
Timber
When you Hit a Target with a Critical Hit with an Axe, you can use the Felling Blow Technique without expending Stamina.
