Archetype Categories

Read on

There are four categories of Archetype you may choose from: Martial, Expert, Support and Magic.

The Martial category includes Characters who gain features which enable them to engage better in combat. Their features are also typically less fantastical than those of the other Archetypes, making them well suited to more grounded Stories.

The Expert category includes Characters who excel in Skill based activities. They are typically somewhat more fantastical than Martials, with some of them having some access to some form of magic.

The Support category includes Characters who gain abilities which allow them to support or even heal other Characters, or emphasize their bond to others. They are frequently fantastical in nature, with them all possessing at least some access to Magic.

The Magic category includes Characters whose abilities are intrinsically tied to Magic in some way, and the features they gain will be dependent upon their relationship with Magic. They all have access to potent levels of Magic.

Currently there are four Archetypes within each of these groups. Below we briefly describe each Archetype. Each Archetype has a page you may view in order to see their features.
